Client Installation Version 2.0 in OS/2

1. Create directory C:\sesam

2. Copy unzip.exe and os2_cli.X.XYZ.zip (copy unzip.exe c:\sesam   copy os2_cli.X.XYZ.zip c:\sesam) (Command)

3. Extract os2_cli.X.XYZ.zip in C:\sesam (.\unzip.exe os2_cli.X.XYZ.zip) (Command)

4. Change into C:\sesam\bin\sesam and start the intallation (sm_setup make_client [sesamserver]) (Command)

Thereupon the SEP sesam client will be fully installed. The sm_ctrld_main service will be started.
<sesam_server> shows, which Backup server can/may backup the data of this Client.

1. Check whether the directory structure is created (C:\type config.sys) (Command)

2. Check with (go.exe) (Command) whether in  C:\sesam\bin\sesam  there is an sm_ctrld_main

Client Deinstallation Version 2.0 in OS/2

1. Find out the sm_ctrld_main PID in directory C:\sesam\bin\sesam   (go.exe) (Command)

2. Terminate the process (go -k [PID]) (Command)

3. Delete the client (sm_setup del_client) (Command)

4. Open the file C:\config.sys with some editor, delete the row SESAM2000_INI and save it (the file, not the row ;-)
