Please read section 'Release Notes' in readme file. Servicepacks are available under servicepacks
To use SEPsesam you have to install Java (version >= 1.4.2).
Sesam server already includes Sesam GUI and client. That's all for backing up a single computer.
Afterwards you can install client packages on every computer in your network you want to backup.
Sesam GUI is used for administrating a Sesam server from your server or another computer in your network.
To backup databases online you will find the appropiate modules under db_modules.

In case of Update please shutdown SEPsesam component first and verify that all SEPsesam processes, e.g. damisql.exe, sm_ctrlc are stopped. Then start setup.exe.
